Story Circle
Lara is a captivating storyteller. On her YouTube channel she imaginatively dramatizes all sorts of stories - space stories, folktales and fairy tales, legends and myths, fables, terrible tales, seasonal tales, surprise stories, and more - aiming to inspire a love for stories, ignite the imagination, and spark curiosity in both the young and the young at heart.
Actor
Lara is a multi-lingual theatre, film, role play, and voice-over actor and entertainer. She has training in acting and musical theatre from the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London, UK. Lara creates shows based on clients’ briefs, children’s theatre, and theatre in education, which she tours in schools and at family events.
Voiceover Actor
Lara is a versatile voice-over actor, and her work includes voicing characters for stage shows like Mr. Kind and children's series like Diggy Dinos.

Casting Agent for Role Play
Lara has acted in role-play scenarios for training in companies and for government entities like embassies in international locations. She was also the casting agent for role-play actors for the annual examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in the UAE.
Space Time
Blast off into imagination with Space Time, a collection of space-themed experiences designed to spark wonder and curiosity about the cosmos. From interactive storytelling like Once Upon a Galaxy to hands-on meteorite handling with Hold Space, and from shows like Oh, the Solar System to solar viewing with Star in Your Eye, Lara invites young explorers on a journey through stars, stories, and science. With games, crafts, and improv, every activity brings the universe a little closer—one smile at a time.
Mime Artist
As a mime artist, Lara has been hired for festivals, launches, family events, mall activations, and openings. She has also taken part in and created custom-made mime shows for clients based on their brief.
Lara is a high-energy children’s entertainer and has hosted games and parties during Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Eid, on birthdays, and at families' and children's events.

Warm, whimsical, and full of cheer, Lara’s Mrs. Claus is a holiday favorite for children and families alike. Whether telling North Pole tales, leading singalongs, or spreading seasonal joy at events, she brings the magic of Christmas to life with heart, humor, and a sparkle in her eye.
Host & Emcee
Lara is a multi-lingual emcee. With a love for language and her sparkling personality, she emcees and presents for brands in food and lifestyle, culture and literature, and children and education.
Her eclectic portfolio includes corporate and team building events, launches, exhibitions and conferences, openings, annual staff parties and awards ceremonies, and children’s and family events.
Lara is a keynote speaker and has spoken at conferences, festivals, and other events such as Macmillan Education's Curriculum Stars at Dubai Opera.

Lara has moderated panel discussions for numerous events including Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, SciFest Dubai, and the Next-Gen World Majlis at Expo 2020.
Educator
Lara brings over 25 years of experience in education, having taught diverse curricula to both international expatriate students and Emirati learners across all age groups.
Beginning her career as a schoolteacher, Lara has designed curricula, developed lesson plans, and consistently earned praise for her outstanding classroom management and ability to build strong rapport with learners.
She has, since 2013, expanded her role as a trainer and facilitator at conferences, camps, festivals, and innovation-focused platforms such as the Al Futtaim Innovation Hub, EY Wavespace, Dubai Future Foundation’s AREA 2071, KHDA’s cohort 7 at Dubai Future Accelerators, and KHDA’s What Works conferences where, notably, she led the Innovation in Education workshop for school principals and senior leaders.
Facilitator & Trainer
Lara is a passionate advocate of alternative learning pathways and has designed, facilitated, and led training sessions and workshops in Arabic and English in a variety of contexts.
Most recently, she trained teams at Expo 2020 Dubai and Expo City Dubai, delivering sessions on communication, storytelling, presentation, puppetry, tour guiding, facilitation, and learner engagement.
Founder, SciFest
Lara is the founder of SciFest Dubai.
Launched in 2014 and running till 2022, SciFest Dubai was a platform to promote creativity, critical thinking, innovation, and STEAM education. The aim was to promote a love for science and a deeper understanding of the scientific method and celebrate science through the arts.
The annual, week-long festival celebrated science through the arts and had over 300 events and a cumulative attendance of over 80,000 audience members and participants. SciFest Dubai and its initiatives have over 500,000 social media followers and was covered by the local and international press, including BBC World. Its clients included the British Council, the National Science, Technology, and Innovation Festival, and the Saudi Space Commission’s AJYAL Space.
Lara and her work have been featured in the press and she was a regular guest on UAE radio stations.
