Description

Get ready for a space-tacular journey!

We blast off on an adventure in outer space with a space rock making its way to Earth in The Story of the Field of the Sky where we learn about shooting stars, their fiery entrance, and thundering landing.

Then we get to hold space in the palm of our hand as we touch and examine real space rocks and learn the difference between metal, stone, and lunar meteorites.

Finally, we play a popular game with a galactic twist.

Will your message survive the cosmic static or will it get scrambled as it passes through the atmosphere, like the meteor in the story?

This is a fun, interactive session that blends storytelling, science, and play for curious young minds.

Hold Space: Cosmic Treasure in Your Hands

Get up close with real fragments from outer space! In this hands-on activity, students will safely handle genuine meteorites—rocks that journeyed across the solar system before landing on Earth.

This is a rare opportunity to literally hold a piece of the cosmos in your hands.
